The Lazar Todorov Foundation donated 5 cubic meters of firewood to a family in financial hardship

For Pavlinka and Rumen Rusev from the village of Zlatar in the Shumen region, today was filled with emotions and tears of happiness. We learned about them from our friends, who told us about the family’s difficult financial situation, surviving only on Rumen’s small disability pension, as he is bedridden due to a serious illness.

With winter approaching, the family was left without firewood, their energy assistance was denied, and they could not afford to buy firewood on their own. Today we had the opportunity to help Pavlinka and Rumen by providing them with 5 cubic meters of firewood. The family accepted the help with gratitude, and we are happy to be able to provide them with warmth for the upcoming winter months. Unfortunately, there are many people in the same situation as Pavlinka and Rumen.
