The donation amount you choose to give to an active campaign on the Platform is entirely up to you.
When donating by bank transfer (IBAN), you MUST include the following in the payment reference field:
"Donation" and the name of the cause you are supporting.
If you only write "Donation" without specifying a beneficiary, the Foundation will allocate the funds at its own discretion to a campaign related to medical treatment and rehabilitation. If no such campaign is active, the funds may be used for other charitable or social purposes of the Foundation.
Fake charitable campaigns are often spread on social media. Scammers may create Facebook pages with emotional titles, use pictures of children, and provide personal bank accounts or PayPal links to exploit people's trust. These campaigns often lack:
⚠️ Such pages usually disappear within days after collecting money, and donations made to bank accounts cannot be refunded.
Yes! Every donation is appreciated. Your support helps us maintain and develop the Platform, enabling more campaigns to succeed.
You can donate via the platform's payment systems or the Foundation's bank account:
If the beneficiary passes away during a campaign and there are unused funds, the campaign initiator (or their relatives) must transfer the funds to another campaign (or several) on the platform.
⚠️ about.important: IMPORTANT: In medical campaigns, part of the unused funds may be used to cover costs related to transporting the body (if abroad) and funeral expenses. If the beneficiary was also the initiator, this responsibility falls on their family.
The lazartodorov.bg platform is free for anyone starting a campaign. Initiators owe nothing to the Foundation.
Only transaction fees set by banks apply. To accept global donations, the Platform uses Stripe and PayPal, and their standard fees apply.
💡 The Foundation does not profit from any campaign donations. Donors can support the platform separately by making a donation for its maintenance and development.
If you donate via the platform's IBAN and want a donation certificate:
✅ A platform administrator will prepare and send the required documents.
If the set fundraising goal is not met, the initiator/beneficiary may use the available funds in line with platform rules.
