Yesterday we received the joyful news that little Simona successfully underwent a bone marrow transplant in Turkey, with her own mother as the donor. The funds for the operation were raised through charity events and personal campaigns by the family.
The amount of 1,344 BGN collected through the campaign on the foundation’s platform will, at the parents’ request, be transferred for the treatment of another child in need.
Simona is in the hospital and recovering after the operation. We will inform you later which campaign the donated funds have been transferred to.
