News from Georgi

Dear kind-hearted people,

I am writing to you with deep gratitude and hope in my heart. My son Georgi will soon turn 9, and thanks to your support, my wonderful boy continues to fight muscular dystrophy. So far, Georgi has undergone four stem cell infusions. I am happy to share that he is in very good condition – fully mobile, smiling, and full of childlike energy. Most importantly, we have managed to stop the progression of the disease.

The next step lies ahead – the fifth infusion, which is planned for June or July. Doctors recommend that the procedures be done every six months, but everything depends on Georgi’s condition. If signs of deterioration appear, we will need to act urgently.

Georgi lives like any other child – he goes to school, attends physiotherapy twice a week, goes swimming, and is part of a center for children with disabilities. He fights every day, but he also enjoys life – thanks to you!
