With great joy, we share that thanks to all donors and supporters, the cause for 20-year-old Jolina Yordanova Filipova from the town of Provadiya has been successfully accomplished!
The electric lifting platform for wheelchairs has been delivered and installed in the municipal home where Jolina lives with her family. The young woman, who until recently was unable to leave her home due to her severe physical condition, now has free access to the outside world.
Jolina suffers from congenital internal hydrocephalus grade II–III and moderate intellectual disability. For years, her family fought an unequal battle with bureaucratic obstacles that prevented them from receiving support through state programs. Thanks to the generosity and compassion of those who believed in this cause, Jolina now has the opportunity to live a more dignified and independent life.
