He is currently in a wakeful coma and is fighting the hardest battle of his life. The latest scan shows a severe condition – a large epidural hematoma pressing on the brain, as well as internal hydrocephalus. An urgent life-saving surgery is required to remove the hematoma. Years ago, Hristo underwent a skull reconstruction in Turkey.
Because of this, hospitals in Plovdiv and Sofia refuse to perform the operation and are directing the family back to the clinic in Turkey, since the skull reconstruction was done using a technology that local specialists do not work with.
Hristo’s only chance right now is transportation to Turkey and emergency surgery. The treatment, hospital stay, and specialized ambulance transport cost around 20,000 euros – an amount that is impossible for the family to afford.
We are asking all kind-hearted people – please help!
Let’s give hope to a family who is currently fighting the fear of losing a loved one.
