Hello, dear people! My name is Atanaska Zlatkova, and I am writing this call for help on behalf of my beloved mother, Velka Tosheva, who is 47 years old and lives in the village of Razhvevo Konare, near Plovdiv. My mother is an incredible person who has devoted her entire life to us – her three children and five wonderful grandchildren. She is our pillar and inspiration, and now she herself needs our support. A few months ago, my mother started coughing. We thought it was just a common cold, but after her family doctor prescribed two different antibiotics without success, we realized something was seriously wrong. The cough worsened, chest pain appeared, and she experienced shortness of breath. An X-ray revealed three large tumor formations in her lung. Numerous tests and consultations followed, but to date no treatment has been started, and every lost minute is critical for my mother’s life. We decided to seek a second opinion abroad. There, they offered a treatment that could give my mother a chance to overcome the disease. Unfortunately, this treatment is extremely expensive and beyond our family’s means. Since the tumors are very large, they must first be reduced with chemotherapy and immunotherapy before they can be surgically removed. Four courses are planned, each costing €4,500, and the hospital warned us to be financially prepared for unexpected medical expenses. To begin my mother’s treatment, approximately €20,000 is needed just for this first stage. My mother is a strong woman, but now she needs our help and support. Every day, when I see her, I feel how much she suffers and how strongly she wishes to see her grandchildren grow up. Her smile and warmth are irreplaceable to all of us, and we cannot imagine life without her. We sincerely ask you – please help us save our mother!
