Hello, dear people! My father, Nedko, has had his life turned upside down over the past year. It all started with discomfort and back pain, which we initially thought were consequences of his work as a truck driver. After months of uncertainty, numerous tests, and misdiagnoses in Bulgaria, we could not get proper treatment. In November this year, we contacted a leading hospital in Turkey, where the true diagnosis was discovered: intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). An urgent decision was made for spinal surgery to relieve the compressed nerve that had left him bedridden since October. Thanks to donors, loans, and charity campaigns, we were able to start treatment immediately. Dad has already completed the first course of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, but 10 sessions of radiotherapy are still needed. The total cost of treatment, tests, and hospitalization is over €90,000 — an amount beyond our family’s means. We ask for your help!
