Eli is only 16 years old, yet she is facing a challenge that few can imagine. Three years ago, during a Sambo competition, her opponent twisted her neck violently. In seconds, two cervical vertebrae shifted and pressed on her spinal cord — an injury that put her life at critical risk. This was followed by an emergency surgery and two months in intensive care — a time when Eli fought for every breath, every movement. Today, Eli continues her difficult fight. Every day she undergoes rehabilitation, filled with pain, effort, and incredible determination. She also attends the ReGo Rehabilitation Center, where she undergoes robotic rehabilitation — a method that gives her a real chance to walk again one day. The progress is slow but meaningful.
