Hello, my name is Kostadinka, I am 47 years old, and I am a mother of two 9-year-old children, whom I raise on my own. In 2020, my life changed forever — I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The disease progressed extremely rapidly. First, I started walking with a cane, then with two canes, then with a walker, and today — for more than two years — I have been in a wheelchair. I have undergone various therapies and treatments, but unfortunately, they did not yield results. In 2023, I underwent a stem cell transplant at the Pirogov Institute in Moscow. I went through aggressive chemotherapy and a difficult recovery. The treatment managed to stop the progression of the disease, but the damage to my body was already present. Today, my chance to improve depends on constant and ongoing rehabilitation. It is my only path to greater independence, to the possibility of standing again, taking a step, and being a fully present mother for my children. Unfortunately, this rehabilitation is not covered by the health insurance, and I must cover all expenses myself, which is impossible for me. I turn to you with a plea for help and support. Any assistance — financial or by sharing my story — is invaluable for me and my children. I sincerely thank everyone who will lend me a hand in this difficult time. Your support gives me hope and strength to keep fighting.
