The school year has begun, and the hallways are once again filled with laughter and children’s voices. But for some children, the first day of school was different – without a new backpack, without notebooks, without confidence. For them, the Lazar Todorov Foundation and the “First of June” Association have launched a special campaign to raise funds so that they can receive the necessary school supplies and move forward together with their classmates. The donated funds will be used to purchase notebooks, educational materials, meal fees, and everything needed to make the school a place of hope and equal opportunity for nearly 40 children, students from grades 1 to 11 from the village of Sokolare, Byala Slatina Municipality. The total cost is 30,000 BGN, which is unaffordable for the families of these 40 children and youth from grades 1 to 11. Together, we can turn the first day of school into a celebration for all children – not only for those lucky enough to go with full backpacks, but also for those who carry only dreams within themselves!
