Cankan’s mother asked us to continue the campaign, because despite the good biopsy result, her son will still need a follow-up scan and specialist consultations in May. The amount needed for the upcoming consultations is €1,500. 05.02.2025 Dear donors, Cankan Hristov urgently needs funds for a functional endoscopic biopsy, which will be performed at Memorial Hospital in Turkey. A year ago, Cankan underwent surgery for a malignant tumor of the left epipharynx. After complications from the surgery in Bulgaria, he was referred for treatment abroad. There, Cankan underwent another surgery and began chemotherapy. Thanks to all the donors who responded to our request to help him recover, Cankan attended the Turkish hospital for months and started to improve. However, at the last follow-up a few days ago, a 5D scan detected a new growth on the right side. To determine the nature of the new growth and the required treatment, Cankan’s mother must pay the Turkish hospital €4,500 for the upcoming biopsy, and funds must also be allocated for immediate treatment after diagnosis. Cankan’s mother is raising her son alone and is in extremely difficult financial circumstances. She is again appealing to all kind-hearted people to help save her child.
