Questions
How much of a donation reaches the campaign?
All of it. The commission is 0 %. The foundation lives on the support for the platform, which you choose when you pay, if you want to.
How do you check the campaigns?
We go through the documents: ID card, medical record, offer. Before we publish, we talk to the family. How we check →
When does the money reach the person?
When the family brings an invoice or an offer, we pay directly – the hospital, the supplier or the family, by bank transfer. Every payment shows on the campaign page with a date and a document.
What if a campaign raises more or less?
If less is raised, we pay against a document as much as was raised. If more is left than needed, the foundation decides what the rest is used for – for example other needs of the same person or a campaign with a similar aim (Terms for donors, section VII).
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. Tick „Do not show my name“ – the page will say „Anonymous“. The amount stays visible.
Will I get a certificate and a tax receipt?
The certificate – right away by e-mail (for a bank transfer – once the transfer arrives). For a receipt for tax relief, write to us. With a profile, the year statement is in „My donations“.
